Anime and kids reactions to it

I tell you what.  I love anime.  Never going to change that one.  I am not quite an Otaku yet, but I am working on getting to that point, and will one day, trust me lol.  But it is always awesome, as I said in my post about growing up, when I find an anime that I like and I can let my ten year old watch.  Fairy Tail is one of those anime.  And he has watched the second episode like 500 times now lol. With him having Autism he gets stuck on certain things and is sometimes very hard to get him unstuck lol.

But he loves it and I let him watch it. And before anyone says anything about the fighting in it I don't care. There isn't much more and no worse fighting in it then there is in Dragon Ball or Pokémon and Yu Gi Oh for that matter. Lol I will be recording his reaction to it in the next couple of days.

On the subject of anime any got any good romance ones out there?

Exercise Information LOL Things you should know I think.

Well, not sure how many will get to see this one.  But there are a few things that I wanted to share with everyone, first is something I saw on TV and the rest of it is things that I have figured out go along with it.

The thing that I heard on TV was from the show My 600lb Life.  About people who are 600+ pounds and want to go through with surgery or other means of losing weight to get healthy.  Which is always a good thing right?  Well one thing that the doctors do that I agree with, to show that they are determined to really lose the weight and make the lifestyle changes that are needed to keep the weight off, they have to go on a strict diet and lose a set amount of weight on their own.  One woman who could hardly stand up let along exercise alot asked her doctor what she could do in place of it.  And her doctor told her that anything you do that moves around and makes you sweat and gets your heart rate going will help.  ANYTHING.

Well I started to think about it and put two and two together.  I have lost 20 pounds in 3 months, still working to get down a little lower than that.  Like I want to lose like another 50 pounds (crosses fingers that i can do it) but when I thought about what I have done the last three months, it really isn't that much.  Buty when I started looking and watching and stopping to check as I did things it was really funny just how much exercise you get in a day!

According to all the research that I have looked up, a healthy heart rate for people is between 60-100 beats.  But for this example, I will stick with the 100 beats as I go through my senarios.

1. First thing to make sure that you are getting your heart rate up and down the right way and not going over board TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR TO FIND OUT WHAT YOUR AT REAST HEART RATE IS AND HWAT THE MAX HEART RATE IS FOR YOU TO HAVE THAT IS SAFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot stress how important that is that before you do anything to make sure you do it safely.  I CANNOT tell you what is safe for you since I am not a doctor, and I wouldn't even try to do that.  So please go and talk to your doctor before you go out and doing this.  THIS is what I noticed ABOUT ME.

Start with a base at rest heart rate of an even 100 beats a moment for me.  MIne is actually around like 93, but I am rounding up.  Max heart rate fo rme that is healthy is no more than 170.  Well that means that even 101 is above a normal rate.

Well for me that was awesome cause I keep a 115-125 heart rate when I am out working in the yard weeding flower beds, watering and tending to our vegies.  I do that like 3 times a week.  That would be moderate I guess.

But when you really think about it, clean your house.  Don't do the dishes, then sit down, then vacum then sid down, then sweep then sit down.  Start with one thing and don't stop until it is done.  Sit down and just take a deep breath.  Your heart is beating faster than when you are at rest.  Poof that is exercise.  That has to be the reason why I have lost the weight in the last three months that I have.  Now I just need to find a cardio that I can do and enjoy doing for the winter so that the progress that I am making over the summer doesn't go down the drain lol.

Being an Adult.........What does it really mean????????

Growing up?  Being an adult?  I mean what does that really mean.  Have you ever had a conversation with someone and what they think being an adult and growing up be totally different from yours?  Like drastically different?  Does that mean that they are wrong and you are right?  Or that they are right nad you are wrong?

Not me lol.  Yes there are the basic universal stuff.  When you grow up to be a responsible adult that means that here are certain things that you do.  You get a job, get a home (house or apartment your choice lol or even a trailer) maybe get married, have kids, get some pets, you take care of them, pay your bills, obey the law and be that typical grown up that everyone has to do at some point in their life.

HOWEVER!  There are some things that you can do until you are 90 or a hundred and it would be 'oh those are for kids grow up and act your age' type of things.  I hate those comments.  But there are some things, that I do, that some think are just for kids, and I shouldn't do or I shouldn't like just becasue I am over the age of eighteen years old.

1. Video Games.  I am a gamer and I am proud of it.  I am trying to branch out to different kinds of games, but those aren't going to go over so well.  I like, no I love my Tecmo KOEI hack n slash games like Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, Warriors Orochi and so on.  And the anime games like for Naruto and Inuyasha and Bleach and Dragon Ball.  I am a Play Station fan, not big on Xbox or PC.  I will be 80 years old sitting in my nursing home I am sure playing Dynasty Warriors and having a full conversation with my TV while I record it and put it on youtube as I go.  Never going to change.  You CAN be an adult and take care of yourself, family bills and what not, and still be a gamer.  People do it all the time.

3. Having and Imagination.  I mean come on do you realy think that cause you turn 18 you can't have one and can't explor it.  AND I DO NOT MEAN WHEN YOU PLAY WITH YOUR KIDS KIND OF IMAGINATION!  Teaching your kids how to use their imagination and playing and helping them learn and grow at the same time is what the parent that is responsible does.  If you don't, well then in my opinion you are not much of a parent and don't need to be if you can't even do that with your kids.  That is another rant lol.  I mean like for example I write fanfictions.  For those that do not know a fanfiction is where someone takes the characters of an existing piece of work, be it book, movie, tv show, cartoon, musical people real life celebs what have you.  And they wirte their own story with them in it and post it online FOR FUN ONLY for others to read.  That is the one thing with them, you can't make money doing them because you are using characters that don't belong to you.  But IF YOU REALLY ARE JUST DOING IT FOR FUN, then that part doens't matter in the least if you get what I am saying.  Who says that we can't do that just because we are not 17 or younger?  Lol I write every single day and I will till I can't use my fingers no more.  (course then I will probably get something where I can talk and write.  Oh hell the way I get into it, I will need to sound proof my room LOL)

3. Cartoons/Anime.  I mean really what the hell is wrong with that?  Really?  I don't care what happens, I love anime and cartoons (more anime than anything) and will watch it.  Hell now and days they actually make anime and even american cartoons for adults.  I mean really who many famlies are going to let their five year old watch Family Guy or something like that?  I sure as hell don't.  And even though I am more of an anime nut, there are certain ones he will NOT watch.  Bleach, Fruits Basket, and a few others where some of them cuss like crazy, nope.  Fairy Tail, Dragon Ball (anything dragon ball actually) and alot of others Oh yeah.  I mean who says just because you turn eighteen years old that you can't watch something animated that isn't for your kids?  Hell even before I was pregnant with my son, my favorite thing to watch at night was Ruggrats.  I mean really people?

Sorry it is just, someone said something to me about it, then it made me think of a debate that I have with someone all the time and I wanted to go on a rant.  NO matter what, so long as you do what you need to do to take care of yourself, your home, your pets and your family, obey the law and don't let the imagination, games and cartoons/anime overtake your life so you ignore everything else, who the hell cares right?  Do what you want to do in your spare time, collect what you want.  I have close to 40 different series of anime that I own and have watched hundreds more online.  I, YES ME MYSELF AND I, watch on Disney XD Star Wars Rebels all the time.  My boy don't like it but I do.  Take care of what you need to take care of and then do what you like.  Doing it together as a family is awesome but alone is alright.  I love that Cody likes anime and anime games and hack n slash games and what not, because at night we watch anime toget and play the games together.  It is amazing mother/son bonding time.  Least I think so.

Sorry about the rant.  Just wanted to get it out there and may help someone else realize that just cause someone else says "you are grown up you shouldn't game/watch cartoons/collect this or that" who cares!!!!!!!!!!  Take care of what you need to, then have fun!  Life is way, WAY to short not to have as much fun as you possibly can :D

Weight Loss Update!

I got some great news!!!  When I started my weight loss journey a couple of months ago I started out at 225 pounds.  Yeah I know it isn't alot but it is for me, mostly around my belly because of having a baby.  And a baby boy at that lol.

But I noticed the other day that a shirt six months ago was really tight on me, when I put it on it fit and was lose and comfy.  Then I noticed that not only the shirt but some of my shorts were lose and had to get new ones!  I was pleasantly shocked and estatically happy!

Now here is the kicker.  I have HAVE don it all, and I haven't changed what I eat at all.  Well no I can't say that.  I have changed how much I eat of the stuff that I do.  But did not change what I eat.  I still ate McDonalds I still eat Chipotle and Red Lobster when we can afford to get it.

All I did was start eating more of something I like that has better stuff for me.  More veggies, that isn't a problem since I love them.  Zucchini, Eggplant, Cauliflower, Broccoli, Greenbeans, Tomatoes.  More chicken for the protien which isn't that hard since I have loved chicken from the day I tasted it, mom says since before I was born.

And moving more.  Just get up and move, or if you can't get up and move around, then you do something sitting down to get your heart rate going, when you get your heart rate going, just like if you do Turbo Jam or Zumba or something like that, you burn fat.  If lifitng your arms up and down over and over or bouncing your legs gets your heart up then go for it an dmore power to you!

That is it!  That is all that I have done!!!!  Good old fashioned eating right, smaller amounts of those things that are not good for you.  That is all I have done.

AS far as moving around, gardening and pulling my son around in his wagon is the moving around that I have been doing.  That's it!

More updates coming soon I hope I will be able to say soon that I am under two hundred pounds!  That would be amazing!!

WOW Somethings that you read

I tell you what, sometimes you read something and then wonder what it was that you just read.  I mean really!  Like I just read an atricle that a friend of mine on facebook shared about how this one woman thought that it was an instult to all moms that other people call their dogs or cats I am sure their furbabies.  I was like what?  NO way she really think thats right?

Well then when I went in to read the article.  And I tell you what I didn't even get half way through it I don't think.  She really made me think, OMG when she said that a human having a baby is like a body invasion for nine months?  I was blessed with a child, my little boy who is Autistic, and I know this is mostly going to be about the videos and what not that I am doing but I needed to complain about it somehwere so I figured that I would do it here.

FIRST of all.  Who does she think she is saying that she thinks that all woman should have to think about things like this the same way that she does?  I have furbabies.  In fact I have nine of them.  We have four dogs and five cats.  And a bird if you want to count that little meany in it.  And we call them our babies all the time!  They are our little furbabies and will always be.  I mean it is like come on how can you not have an animal from a baby (like we have had all of ours except for one and even that one is just as special as the rest of them are) and not love them beyond that of just an animal?

She even said that puppy proofing was so much different from baby proofing a house.  NOPE sorry about her luck.  The only difference there is, that a puppy will chew on anything from day one that you get it and a baby takes a few months.  That is it.  But she said that all she had to do with the puppy was make sure anything that she didn't want chewed was picked up and put away from the pup.  That a child you have to get the poisnous cleaning supplies out of reach of human children, anything that they can choke on, breakables and all along those lines.  Which don't get me wrong you do have to do.  OH and locks on cabinet doors.  But I mean anyone who has had puppies, unless they are locked up in a cage 24 hours a day seven days a week, they get into all that too!  I mean come on people for real?

She reminded me of that woman from England that hates fat people.  Just as ignorant and judgmental if you ask me.  I for one am PROUD AS HELL to say that I love my furbabies.  All nine of them.  All different ages!  Raging from kittens Wink and Tink who are six weeks old, to Keltie who is about a year and a half, to Lady who is going to be three this month, to Zee, Mia, Carli and Mizuki who are all going to be seven in a few months, and finally there is the Queen of the house,  Our cat Cyndel who just turned 19 years old a few weeks ago.  They are all our furbabies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
